Here are my thoughts on Music:

Music is the foundation that all of the other elements of the dance are built upon. Time spent programming the musical aspect of the dance will add an additional element to your performance. Music is one of the most important things in life it has the ability to adjust mood and feelings. Variety being the spice of life tells us that we need to adjust our music to be more than just one type of song.
