Some of my favorite quotes:

"Greatest show on earth!" P.T. Barnum
"Rather you think you can or you think you can't, you are right!" Henry Ford

Webster's Definition:
2 : a notably spectacular, dramatic, or effective performer

Here are my thoughts on Showmanship:

Listen to music that is completely computer generated, is there something missing? The notes are perfectly on pitch, the phrase, rhythm and BPM are exactly right but it is missing the personality/human element. It is possible to program that computer to call a dance that was 100% perfect in all the technical aspects, but the same thing that was missing in the music is still missing with the calling, the computer has no personality. I believe that human personality has more to do with showmanship than any other aspect of calling/entertainment.

PowerPoint show coming soon! The PowerPoint will try to illustrate the use of showmanship to make a "good calling job" look like a "great entertaining performance."
